My English teacher had encouraged me to take part in an English speech contest the other day.As a shy girl, I never thought of doing such kind things in public.Anyway,I final stood before the micriphone in face of the great number of students.To be frank,I had practiced a great deal times before stepping onto the stage.However,tomy much embarrassment,I forget all what Ihad prepared.I almost burst out crying for the moment,but soon Imanaged to calm me down.Believeit or not,the speech ultimately end with a great success.

I like eating fruit and vegetables which is of great benefit to our healthy.Not onlydo they prevent us from falling into ill,but they help us lose weight.I used to hate vegetables,and followng the doctor's advice.I gradually kicked the bad habit.Just as an old saying going."An apple a day keeps the doctor away".However,there are still many chlidren disliked fruit and vegetables 。Oncontrary,infiuenced by this or that kind od davertisement,many were crazy about junk food.Consequentiy,they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strong.In my opinion,we must take action to changing it.
