Lots of children like reading stories. They can have fun and learn from the story.
For example, many children like reading storybooks with pictures. They make stories more interesting and the book more colorful. Reading storybooks can help children think about different kinds of questions. Now there are lots of storybooks with sounds. Children can read a wonderful story by listening to beautiful music.
But many parents don’t think it is a good idea to read stories. They think children should study hard after school. They need to read their schoolbooks instead of storybooks. They think stories can only waste their children’s time. Some books are bad for children. Children will learn bad things from those books.
What kind of stories should children read? First, the stories should be easy and interesting for children. Next, the stories should be educational. Then they can learn from them.
