（desperado西班牙语本意是流浪者、失意者，专辑《Desperado》里的主人公原本是牛仔，却误入歧途成为杀人越货的亡命之徒。歌者以一个过来人的身份劝诫主人公，希望他能改邪归正，用的是一种面对面谈心的语气，所以我有些内容并不是简单的直接翻译，而是转为类似对话的语气，为的是能更加符合歌词意境，也尽量做到言简意赅，比较对面坐的是一个亡命之徒，太啰嗦的话搞不好就给你一枪啊）

你已逍遥法外很久了（fences，围栏，比喻法律的束缚；out ridin' fences说明这个人是个法外之徒）

但现在的欢愉放纵终有一天会让你自食恶果
（开头用一种婉转的语气告诉主人公浪子回头，现在做的事看似快意恩仇，其实最终会自食苦果。由于主人公原本是牛仔，所以用 out ridin' fences来指出他逍遥法外会显得比较容易接受，毕竟这类人对于law（法律）这类词汇比较敏感。下面歌词中的种种隐喻都是起到类似效果，让听者容易接受，进而达到劝诫的效果）

赶紧把拜金女甩掉吧（别抽那张方块Q 方块Q比喻拜金女），小伙子

浪子回头，敞开心扉（Come down from your fences，还是隐喻主人公逍遥法外：正跨在围栏（法律）上，所以是让他下来，别再触碰法律的底限了。open the gate，这里我觉得有让他自首的意思，gate可能是监狱的大门，但同时也比喻心门。）
