两道英语选择题

1992年研考：9. ________, he does get initiated with her sometimes.

[B] Much though he likes her

2000年全国四级：49、_______, he does get annoyed with her sometimes.
A) Although much he likes her
B) Much although he likes her
C) As he likes her much
D) Much as he likes her

这两题考察的都是though/as引导的状语从句的倒装形式。

Though引导的状语从句有略微否定的意思，这种情况下，可以用倒装结构装表语和宾语提前。这种结构同样适用于as引导的否定义状语从句。所以：
much as 和 much though 其实是把much提到了as 和though的前面构成的倒装结构。

注意这种倒装的句子，不能用although引导（为了排除第二题选项B）

举例：
Though he is clever= clever as/though he is
Though he is a boy = boy as/though he is
Though he can eat much = much as/ though he can eat

Child as she is, she can speak 2 foreign languages. 尽管她是个孩子，她能说2门外语。
Brave as he was, he couldn't finish this difficult task. 尽管他很勇敢，可是他没能完成任务。
Try as he might, he failed at last. 尽管他试了，但仍然失败了。

再次强调一下，在倒装句中只能用as或though 引导；在陈述句语序中只能用although/ though引导，不可用as (排除第一题A，第二题C)

这样的倒装结构刚开始觉得别扭，但其实让人讲到句子时更明确其后要接转折的意味，平添一份文采。

理解了这些，这两题应该没什么难度了吧。

我认为第一题有两个对的，楼主能告诉我正确答案真只有一个吗？？(研考题还真能变态的。。)

做这种题，知道是考倒装了，就把句子顺过来看。
第一题顺装：Though he likes her much, he...
第二题顺装：As he likes her much, he...

完全一个套路，万变不离其宗啊。

第一句里get initiated with 你确定没有打错吗？initiate 一词不这样用啊！

第二句：选D 虽然他很喜欢她，可是有时的确很生她的气。
C) As he likes her much由于他很喜欢她
D) Much as he likes her虽然/尽管他很喜欢她
A和B选项本身都是错误的, 都是词序错误
Much as he likes her=Although/Though he likes her much

第一句里 要从A和D中选，选哪个取决于后面的主句意思

1--B，他一到家，就给我写信了。前后都是过去式，while后面的动词必须是延续性的。可以填when。
2--C。定语从句，time在定语从句里做时间状语。现代化交流将会遍布整个中国的大部分乡村的时候很快就会到来。
