It’s the Chinese New Year once again. Before that, my mother took me to the shops and bought me some beautiful new clothes. We then went to my grandfather and grandmother's house and had our new year's meal together. The food was delicious. I ate a lot. Later we all went to see the flower's market. It was so beautiful and exciting. I enjoyed that very much but the best thing to follow was: my father and mother gave me the red packets with new year's money inside of them. I like Chinese New Year and I think all Children like Chinese New year too.
一年一度的中国新年又再次到临，我的母亲带我去买了很多美丽的新衣服给我，我们一家在祖父母处一起吃年饭，美味得很的菜式，我吃了很多，然後去逛花市，花市好看极了，我非常开心，但更开心我是，爸妈给我的红封啊! 我真的喜欢中国新年，我想邮希的小孩子也一样会喜欢中国新年。

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there lived an old man. The old man was nearly eighty years of age and retired in a secluded part of the world where no one cared to look into his affairs and he was left to care for himself and an old spotted cat. In fact, he would rather be left alone and never troubled about by curious wanderers. You may wonder why, perhaps, but it is a secret better left untold. For rumors tell of the misery and grief the lonely man endured when he was young and ardent, longing for knowledge of nature's hidden dark side. Alas, fortune does not favor those who play with the fires of danger, and the once glorious man was finally left to rot slowly and painfully, unknown to all and with passion buried in the past.

So now you know that it is wiser to keep to the instructions of your elders and not to seek something beyond your nature, or else you will end up like the old man. But that is a legend, of course.
