Everyone's past is filled with regrets that still cause pain.But from an emotional energy point of view, they are dead weights that keep us from moving forward.While they can't merely be willed away,I do recommend you remind yourself that whatever happened is in the past,and nothing can change that. 答案给的是move forward,根据是第二句话里，keep sb from doing 与difficult to do 意思相近。而我答得是continue into the present,是根据最后一句话答得。

就应该这样理解啊 原文的意思是说我们过去痛苦的记忆会挡住我们向前走，they are dead weights that keep us from moving forward这句话的意思就是说那些痛苦的记忆被人们过度地去回忆去衡量就会阻止他们往前走。而问题只是和这句话的同义代换，换种说话方式而已。
