Evidently, the golden week holidays had promoted the development of economy strongly, especially the Tertiary industry, take the tourism and food industry for examples, are of greatest benefit.Furthermore, people make most use of the holiday to relax and make their life more colorful by traveling, shopping, visiting friends and so on.To some degree,it relieves work people from the daily life which is always in the shadow of big pressures.
Nevertheless,an entire string of problems has aroused due to the golden week holidays. To be exact, what people did has led to the situation of environment and transportation becoming worse and worse.Certainly,we may attribute to the large population.
In terms of me,I side with the attitude that the golden week holidays should be recovered. No matter the national economic development or we citizens all need the holidays so as to achieve a high speed in soaring the economy or enjoy the beautiful life.

Title: Should the Golden Week Holidays Be Abolished?
Introduction:
The Golden Week holidays, a series of national holidays in many countries, are highly anticipated by people as a time for relaxation and travel. However, there is ongoing debate regarding whether these holidays should be abolished. This essay will explore both perspectives on the issue.
Body:
1. Supporting Abolition of Golden Week Holidays:
- Economic Impact: Some argue that the Golden Week holidays negatively impact the economy. During this period, many businesses experience a decline in productivity as employees take time off work. Additionally, the surge in travel and tourism can lead to overcrowding and price hikes, making it difficult for people to enjoy their vacations.
- Educational Disruption: Another point of contention is the disruption caused to the education system. The Golden Week holidays often fall during the school term, interrupting the learning process. This can lead to difficulties in maintaining continuity in academic studies and poses challenges for teachers in planning their curriculum.
- Traffic Congestion: The increase in travel during the Golden Week holidays can result in heavy traffic congestion. Popular tourist destinations and transportation hubs become overcrowded, causing delays and inconvenience for travelers. This can negatively impact both tourists and local residents alike.
2. Arguments in Favor of Retaining Golden Week Holidays:
- Promoting Tourism and Economic Growth: The Golden Week holidays are a significant boost to the tourism industry. Many people plan their vacations during this time, leading to increased spending on travel, accommodations, and leisure activities. This surge in tourism contributes to the local economy and creates job opportunities.
- Family and Leisure Time: The Golden Week holidays provide an extended period for families to spend quality time together and engage in recreational activities. This helps foster stronger family bonds and allows individuals to recharge and relax. It is seen as a valuable opportunity for people to escape from their busy lives and enjoy leisure pursuits.
- Cultural Significance: Golden Week holidays often coincide with important cultural and historical events, allowing people to celebrate and appreciate their cultural heritage. These holidays provide an opportunity for communities to come together and engage in cultural activities, such as traditional festivals and ceremonies.
Conclusion:
The debate over whether the Golden Week holidays should be abolished is complex and multifaceted. While some argue for their abolition due to economic and educational concerns, others emphasize their positive impact on tourism, leisure, and cultural significance. It is essential to carefully consider these arguments and strike a balance that maximizes the benefits while addressing any potential challenges associated with the holidays.
