1.The couple cuts the cake
2.The couple have their tirst dance as husband and wife
这两句话矛盾吗？
为什么第一句用了三单，而第二句没有。
当The couple 作主语的时候，谓语用三单吗？

当couple表示若干对中的一对，即表示一个单位时，其谓语动词应该用单数：
