Dear Dad and Mom,
This is a letter for you. You may feel strange that why I write to you instead of talking to you. Each time we talk, exactly that is you tell me what to do and not do. I can only listen to but I can not tell my real ideas.
Yes, as a student, it's important for me to study hard. But when I finish doing my homework and exercise, can you give me a little time for my own activities? You say watching TV influences my study. But it is just a way for me to relax. You say searching the Internet wastes my time. But it is a means to communicate with my friends and learn the outside world. You say going out with friends is not safer than staying at home. But you don't know they can share my secrets, my sorrow and happiness.
I think each time we talk is a lesson rather than a communication. How I wish you can listen to my own thoughts! It is hard for me to say out when we face to face. I hope you can understand more about me after reading this letter, can't you?
