1. 其实similar jacket photos只是说明两个人的相似。那为什么要说他们相似？因为相似，才能引出下文对两人不同的评论。所以重点是similar
2.就是说，有两个人都很牛逼，但一个人在大公司，一个人在小公司。就好比一个人是白富美，另一个是女屌丝。白富美成功在大家看来是理所应当，女屌丝成功就会引来好多的说法，所以incredulous表示怀疑的就很容易想明白了。

critics couldn't resist reviewing them together就是说评论家们啊，把他们放在一起来看。
mocking the pair，嘲笑啊，然后后面的引用都是来说明怎么嘲笑的。因为后面有个even，所以情感是递进的，所以看不懂没事，明白这些人是嘲笑的就好。为什么嘲笑，因为怀疑
