Hi, Martin,
I spent a very happy birthday party last weekend at home. It was my 21 year old birthday and hence my parents allowed me to invite as many friends to attend as I wished. It was such a wonderful day. The party began at 5:00pm. when my friendds arrived one after the other. They brought me a lot of birthday gifts including : birthday cards, cakes, chocolates, and electronic games, plua a new mobile phone which I had awaited for a long time.
We had funs for 2 hours chatting, singing songs, watching videos etc. Then we had a delicious buffet dinner followed by a big birthday cake ! This was a very memorable day for me. I wish you were here to share my joy.

Dear Martin:
I'm writing to tell you something surprising about my birthday party held last weekend. I had such a wonderful birthday that I would never forget. It was sunny last Saturday, My friends took for an outdoor picnic in the woods near my neighbourhood. They invited me to come and wanted to give me a big surprise. I wondered what they would give me. As soon as I got there, someone covered my eyes from behind, I felt I was put something special on my head, something sweet into my mouth. and then a circle around me when I opened my eyes, everyone here sang the song "Happy birthday" to me. I was really moved into tears.
