what用於没有具体指代， that用於有具体的指代，sth that 中，sth就是被指代的事物。

2 the reason why he changed his mind == the reason FOR WHICH he -- - -

3 如果是when + 主语+ 谓语动词就对了------D 少了主语he == having finished-----分词结构做时间状语也是ok的。
when finshed ------可能被认为是被动语态，所以不对。
