Mary, a girl who likes to travel around the world, booked an airline ticket with the help of a travel agency and went to Tibet alone. With all her luggage packed up, her parents saw her off and she read a magazine introducing tourist attractions and scenic spots around Tibet on the plane. After going off from the plane, she checked in a hotel, and then took the bus to appreciate the beauties of nature. Through the communication with local residents, she not only understood the local culture better, but also promoted friendship and understanding with them. From the tour, she learnt more about the outside world, which broadened her knowledge.

I like travelling. If I have enough money and have limited time, I would join a tour group to go places. This can save time and planning. A good tour agency will plan and take care of the whole tour. I don't like tour guide that brings us to buy things at stipulated shop. If I have the time, I would prefer to go travelling on my own in a man-packed trip. If I go on a man-packed trip, I would try to look for a friend to go with me. Going in pair, would be safer and in case, one of us got sick, the other is able to take care of the other.If I go on a man-packed trip, I usually spend more time on historical sites.

I would like to visit France. As most of the travellers know, France is a very attractive country. I would like to appreciate travellers to visit there not only because of its beautiful scene, and also the fantastic food. I do not interested in countries such as Iraq and Thiland. Due to the recent wars and social turmoil, it is quite unsafe to travel to these countries. Normally i take air-plane to travel. Thus, i think air-plane is the best way for people to travel around the world. Furthermore, it saves a lot of time and strength for me.

Visiting the Great Wall
There is a famous saying, "He who doesn't reach the Great Wall is not a true man." This morning my classmates and i got up early to visit the Great Wall. We went there by car.
On our way to the Great Wall, we saw many tall buildings on both sides of the road.
About two hours later, we arrived at the Great Wall. When the Great Wall appeared in front of us, we couldn't help crying, "What a wonderful sight it is! How great it is!" When we walked on the Great Wall we felt very proud because it's the longest wall in the world. And all the work was done by hand. Today it had become a place of interest to the people all over the world.
After visiting the Great Wall, I've made up my mind to study harder than ever.
