Tonight after dinner I went for a walk with my mum. During our walk we met a foreigner, he seemed to be lost so I went up and asked if he needed any help. Luckily he spoke English, if he spoke Italian I would not be able to help him. He was trying to find Red Star Restaurant. I told him to follow this road and at the third intersection he should be able to see it. He was really thankful and said my English was really good. I felt really happy and proud that I was able to help someone using English. I think I am now much more confident in my English and I tbink I might try and use English more often.

My Best Friend
Li Ming is my best friend. We've known each other ever since we started primary school together. He is very smart, friendly and loves helping people. His memory is also excellent, which makes him fantastic in creative writing as he can memorise a lot of vocabulary and also maths, although sometimes he is quite careless. He is also very interested in history, he knows quite a lot about chinese history. He plas well and often he can organise classroom activies. All our classmates really like him.
