One fine afternoon, I went shopping with my family. We took the busto Orchard MRT Station. It was a Saturday, so there were many people around. We had to squeeze our way through the crowd.
We used the underground tunnel to cross the busy Orchard Road. We headed for Tangs, a big department store opposite the Orchard MRT Station.
There were lovely window displays outside Tangs. My mother liked a dress which was on display . We went to the ladies' department to look for it. After trying it on, she decided to buy it. My father complained that it was rather expensive but she insisted on buying it.
Next we went to the toy department. My sister and I loved this department badly. Each of us selected a toy.
Then my father joined the long queue to pay for the things. After that , we went home for dinner.
