timeline：
要理解一个复杂的时态，把它一层层的叠加起来会很有效。
本来如果没有时光机的话，我们在2014年会说he placed his first bet.
或者我们说他在1958年已经买了，会说he has placed his first bet.
这时候会出现一个基本上看不到的时态：将来完成时: he will have placed his first bet.这个意思是说“到某个时间点的时候他将会做完了某件事”。给一个语境的例子：在明天十点前我就（已经）写完作业了（，到时候就有时间出去玩了）。在中文中硬加一个“已经”会听上去有点怪，但是写完其实就表示的是完成时了。

关键逻辑开始了！虽然说他们是回到了过去，但是实际上他们还是在未来做事。看上面的timeline，在从上面的2015年到下面之后，其实是在2015年的基础上又经历了下面的事，把两条合起来就是这样的

所以说如果以2015年为现在，在1958年发生的事在一定程度上是未来的事，所以可以说是will have placed his first bet.
但是和其他的未来的区别在一定程度上它又是一个过去的事，所以说would have placed his first bet.
到这为止是Sheldon说的 something that would have happened in the future of a past（看上面的句子），但是这个past还有一个特点是 a past that was affected by something from the future.关键点，一个是affected影响，所以应该用完成时，又因为他是一个past，过去，所以用过去完成时，所以我们把would变成过去完成时，因为will其实没有过去分词的形式所以我们就不变它了，就变成了had will have placed his first bet. （此处应该有掌声！）
