before noon we finished working 可改为: We had all finished our work before noon. 会好一些。

请指教。有些部分可能有两种改法，因此有点出入是难免的。

嗯哼。。还有leaving此处用作非谓语或者什么的，改为left不就俩个谓语动词了。。。有些不是很明白。。
