The press needs to spread the purpose of the owner. Readers get not only current affairs but also attitudes from the autorities.

Websites, on the other hand, gives common folks an opportunity to show their attitudes. Everyone can commend on Weibo or Renren, even on some official websites. Thus, website will provide a more neutral attitude overall. It is also ture that website may update faster than newpaper because it opens to everyone, so news are presented on websites almost simultaneously.
