Today's subject of our group's presentation is about "Dating". It is an exciting topic for a lot of young men and women when we are talking about dating, Dating is a way newly met men and women to get to know each other well, also an important stage of falling in love.

Within the free and open campus, Every day when night falls, outside of the library, on the lawn of the campus, beside the pond, there are numerous of datings going on. However, inside of the campus like this thirty, forty years ago was an unimaginable thing and in the old time of China, this was even a violation of the common sense. At that time, Husbands and wives didn't even know each others before they married. In the feudal ages, datings between men and women were forbidden. Marriages were arranged by parents and we were forced to accept them.

那时的婚姻是没有爱情和自由的，因此上演了无数起悲剧的结局。而随着时代的进步和改革开放，自由平等的观念深入人心，自由恋爱已经是男女青年的家常便饭了，约会也成为了新时代青年的必修课。
The marriages of that time had no love and freedom. Therefore, there were countless of unhappy endings. But along with the advancement of time also reform and openness, the concept of freedom and equality are now deep in everybody's mind. Free love is now such a common thing for young people, Dating has become a required course for youth of the new time.

Hello, everybody. We are going to talk about "Date". Speaking of Date, it is a topic that makes all youngsters excited. Dates bring unfamiliar guys and girls together and it is also a very important part of a relationship.

In the open-minded campus of Renmin University, everyday after sunset, there are tons of couples dating out by the lake on the grassland outside the library. However, these scenes were unimaginable three to four decades ago on the cumpas. In the old China, it is even more untraditional. Back then, husbands and wives did not know each other until they got married. In feudal society, the young were banned from dating. Marriages were all set by parents and people could just live with it.

At that time, marriages did not mean true love or freedom. Hence, countless tragedies took place. Nevertheless, as the society developed, people has become to understand the value of freedom and it is natrual now for young people to love freely. Thus, dating is now a type of art people should all learn.
