At first, I was disgusted by the hero who killed many girl but felt not even a shred of guilt and shame. He is an addict of scents and neither morality nor humanity was in his mind. But later, I found that he has no other desires than scent. Therefore, all his actions were driven by the lofty yet manic goal of creating the best perfume the world.
最初，我厌恶这个主人公。他杀死了很多女孩儿但确没有一点儿罪恶感和羞耻心。他痴迷于气味，没有道德观念和人性光芒。但是，随后，我发现，他除了气味之外没有任何欲望。他的所有行动都是为了崇高而又疯狂的一个目标，这个目标就是，创造出世界上最美的香水。
He began his life with smelling various odours around him and ended his life with the best scent in the world. His life was perfect.

The first scent that lured him was from a young girl who sold fruit.

He was so infatuated with it that he followed her all the way at night and end up killing her unfortunately. He undressed thegirl, not to rape her, but to feel the body note.

That was just a start.

To finish his destiny of finding the thirteenth note and creating the best perfume the world has never seen before, he travelled far to a town named Grasses where his experiment began.

He searched young and pretty girls, killed them, extracted their body notes and made elements which comprised his perfumeand his destiny.
