python UnicodeDecodeError: 'gbk' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 0

diri = 'D:\\dat'
os.chdir(diri)
for files in os.listdir(diri):
print(files)
newf = os.path.join(diri,files)
f = open(newf,'r')
data = [line.strip() for line in f.readlines()]
后面提示说python UnicodeDecodeError: 'gbk' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 0: illegal multibyte seque，错误就在于data赋值这一行，新手求教，对了python是用eclipse编写的

打开文件的时候指明编码
比如 f = open(newf,'r',encoding= 'gbk')
这样就好了 到底是编码可以试 比如utf-8 啥的也可以用有的文本编辑器查看

你用f = open(newf,'r')打开的文件里面不是unicode编码的，里边有中文之类的；要是打开一个英文文件肯定是没问题的
