In some places (where the sea is unusually rich in nutrients) 最为常见，但where=in /at the place where....(也就是说，在定语从句中where 前面的先行词有时可省略。)

第一题应该是虚拟语气的省略用法，完整的是if she were to take
第二题In some places where the sea is unusually rich in nutrients ，tiny plants multiply这样就对了，这是个定语从句。where the sea is unusually rich in nutrients 作定语
第三题原句which out of two or more products that are unidentified that they are prefer，有are是不对的，把are去掉就对了答案中只是把定语从句中可以省略的部分去掉了，that are和后面的that
至于E，我觉得不是语法的问题，是句意的问题，原文是个被动语态，be asked for 我觉得欠妥。

   虚拟语气题

   were she to take = if she were to take 

   由于would have done是虚拟语气的主句部分的结构，所以B被排除。

   由于主句部分是might not be结构，所以从句部分不可能是were to have done结构，所以C被排除。
   

   由于主句部分是might not be结构，所以从句部分不可能是had done结构，只有在主句部分是might not have been结构时，从句部分才可能是had done结构，所以D被排除。

   由于主句部分是虚拟语气的将来时might not be结构，所以后面如果用介词by，也应该是by doing结构，而不会是by having done结构，所以E被排除。
   

2. (In some places the sea is unusually rich in nutrients tiny plants multiply there,) turning the water green.

   原句包含一个系表结构be rich和一个谓语动词结构multiply，这两者出现在一个句子内是需要连词或者关系代词来衔接的，但是原句缺乏起衔接功能的词汇，所以原句是错误的。

3. 原句应该是表达“他们喜欢的未注明的产品中的哪两个”，如果按E的表达来理解，意思就成了“他们喜欢未注明的产品中的哪两个”，这样一来，意思就变了，所以E是错的。
