In the meanwhile, an increasing number of customers find it more expensive to purchase these goods. Taking a look around, we can find a great many examples in supermarkets: excessive packages of food, clothes and gifts.
It is evident that the causes of this phenomenon are diverse. In the first place, some customers' psychological need is the root cause. These packages bring the sense of beauty, arouse people's enthusiasm to buy, and help manufacturers to promote sale. In the second place, it is these packages that enable shops to build up a foundation for advertising. As a matter of fact, industries in mounting numbers have come to realize the necessity of packaging for sale.
However, as a customer, I am convinced that quality of goods is of great importance. Thus, we should educate, advocate and encourage our friends, classmates and acquaintances to buy goods without excessive packages.
