From 2007 to 2008, however, the international sales figure of books fell to less than a million.
Why does such a big problem exist in the twenty-first century? The answer to this question is not that people don't like to read books or aren't interested in reading books, but that the way in which people get information has changed into the Internet, not books. The electronic books have become part of our culture, which fits the so-called "fast-food culture".
