In recent years, with the development of Chinese's ecomony level, more and more parents would like to send their kids abroad for better education. It's a trend that the average age gets younger and younger. In my opinion, it's not harmful to send the kid to abroad at the earlier age, because young kid is not developed mentally, they can't accept too much new stuff when he/she is 7 or 8 years old. In contras, he/she might be afraid to get connected with the new friends, and colleagues. Strange faces, invriroment and teaching system might harm kid forever. Meanwhile, parents can't company theirs kids all the time, so problem can't be solved at time. So in clusion, it's better to send child abroad when they have finished the basic education in China, and 18 years old is a perfect stage for the foreign education.
