To get a full-time doctoral candidate need a basical schooling of 3~4 years, study for a doctoral candidate directly need 5 years, a MD-PhD based graduate need a total of 5~6 years, a on-the-job doctoral candidate takes 5 years. If there's any reason that the student cannot complete the graduate dissertation answering on time, the graduate should submit the applicatiion to postpone the graduation 6 before the end of schooling term.
