高分求助达人翻译一英文歌曲。

（机翻的请自重，看着词不达意狗屁不通的你好意思么复制么！）

2010年的一首歌，后来电影《上帝保佑美国》，《警戒解除》都当过插曲
网上的翻译都不是很好，而且有个版本还是照抄《上》电影中的翻译，而且不全。
自己试着翻译过，略难，有几句加上歌曲节奏还是完全不知道怎么对意。

"When there's no one left to pawn” 这里和下一句 "There is no peace here" 在歌曲中应该是分开的段落。这里的翻译可能会有点不对。

最后那段的 I thread the needle through，原来一直都没搞懂，真不知道可以翻成这个意思。。。

1、When there's no one left to pawn
我所以翻译成“无人称臣”是因为 pawn 是国际象棋中的小兵、小卒；或者是权利斗争的工具，
联系上句 Everyone is king ，这句就是“当没有人留下充当马前卒之时 ，人人都是王”。

2、thread the needle 字面意思是“穿针引线”，但由此延伸出一种寓意“完成艰难的任务；努力争取”= 这种解释可以在字典里查到。

3、“There is no peace here 就没有了和平”

做为另起一段：上述翻译的确不妥，那就直白地译成“这里没有和平”吧

4、“War is never cheap dear 战争不息，亲爱的”，
我句话的翻译有误 -- 我把cheap（廉价） 看成了cease（停息）。
所以，这句话应该是“战争劳民伤财，dear - （直接用英文，中文字多填不进去）”

a) 上面去我的回答被推荐，无法更爱i，你按我这里的意思自己改吧。
b) 我听了一下音乐，基本可以和上，个别不太和的地方，你自己按个人喜好调整一下就可以了。
