Every coin has two sides, or in other words, there are two sides to everything. When it comes to making a choice between globalization and localization, it is really hard to say that one is better than the other. To different people, globalization and localization mean different things.

What is meant by globalization is that as many countries in the world as possible go all out to make the world economy uniform. That is to say that every nation on Earth will apply the same economic principles to conducting its economic affairs when it is doing its trade or business with another nation. In that way, it does good to the world, for it makes the economy easy to manage wherever you go worldwide.

However, every country here has its cultural heritage and its unique customs and traditions, and if they were to be globalized, the world would be a really boring place to live, for wherever you go, you saw nothing that symbolizes / characterizes the locality culturally or traditionally. Local cultures and traditions make our world colourful and exciting and such a globalization would mean the end of the world.

In my opinion, economic globalization combined with cultural and traditional localization is a good alternative for all the people sharing the same globe.

With the development of economy and technology, the relationship between different countries became more and more close in these years, and the argument for globalization and localization is very popular now.
In my opinion, I think globalization is better than localization, the reason is as following.
First of all, globalization offers extensive opportunitiees for every county in the world. The power for a single country especially developing country may be not enough to finish a work, but by cooperating with other countries, they can finish the work together. All the countries perticipate in this organlization can benefit from it.
Secondly, people in different countries can enjoy the same convenience and quality life. For example, nowadays we Chinese can share the same Hollywood movie as the American, and enjoy the same fashionable clothes as the young girls in Paris. All this can not be given by localization.
Last but not the least, globalization can contribute to the communication of diferent cultures, which can widen our field of view and improve our knowledge.
From above, we can draw a conclusion that globalization is very important, we can benefit more from it than localization. Only when we seize the opportunity of globalization, our country can have a bright future.
