1、在教学活动中，通过创设情景（听、说、演、练、写），运用灵活多样的教学手段调动学生参与学习的主动性、积极性和创造性，使学生最大限度地参与教学活动，动脑、动口、动手，充分体现他们在学习中的主体作用。
2、用直观教具，为学生创造良好的听说环境。通过实物、图片、多媒体动画等英语教学中常用的直观教具进行单词教学和对话教学，不仅有利于我们进行听说训练，而且也能促使学生动脑动手，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高课堂效率，教学效果会更好。
3、通过活动教学，学生学习英语的兴趣不断提高，学习参与语言实践活动的意识明显增强，学生们在活动中学习语言，运用语言，充分发挥了主体性和创造性，语言交际能力得到和谐发展，真正把素质教育落到实处。
