the customs in our country are very different from yours 。 However, I think there is something you should know—you know, manners in China, especially dinner manners.
First, we Chinese use chopsticks instead of folks which point you may cannot get used to. Chopsticks have been developed for about thousand years so it’s very traditional.
Second, putting your sticks into food is quite unpolite. In China, we take this as a rude behavior which means you don’t like the food here.
Last but not least, don’t speak with your mouth full of food, that’s not polite nor looks nice.
