第一题我的老师说by the time+从句=When从句，用一般过去式代替过去将来时，所以选C，但是为什么这句话要用“过去将来时”呢？？还是有别的更好的解释方法？
第二题老师说因为是特指，所以用THE。但是要怎么判断“特指”还是“泛指”呢？
第三题完全听不懂老师讲什么。。。

你这么想吧，第一题中“当挂断电话时”是一个很短暂的动作啊，就那个一瞬间你只能做一个动作，不是用过去将来时啦，是过去时，就是在过去的一个时间做的一个有开始有结束的动作。第二题，完了，不知道咋解释了，我真是凭语感来的，对不住啊同学。第三题我选择A，我拿我们学的西语解释吧，it就是形式主语，代指的是being a parent这个见事儿。

by the time的用法有两点 （1） 意为到,,,,,,时为止，在,,,,,,,之前。引导时间状语从句，主句常用过去完成时，过去完成时态表示“过去的过去”。 （2）若by the time后的从句是将来时态，则主句谓语动词用将来完成时态。如：by the time they get there ,we will have finished the work.当他们到达那里时，我们将已经完成这项工作了。
