The question of whether or not to have a New Year celebration
party is purely personal chose. However there has been a trend that more and
more dinner parties are held during the Spring Festival season. There is no
argument about whether people should or not do something to celebrate the
festival and enjoy themselves. What is the best way to celebrate has to be
considered. Dinner parties, sending of presents, and best wishes, have become a common
part of our culture. For the most part,Chinese people have adopted such practices
without question or examination. A few small groups have taken the stance that all dinner
party celebrations are wrong and should be banned at all. They, of course, cite their
own reasons for such a drastic stance, all of which must beconsidered here as well.
It is clear that people need a get together to celebrate, and a dinner party may be the
most suitable place for people to exchange their best wishes in the beginning
of a year, to express their best wishes to their senior members in the family.
Even the relationship between friends or classmates can be strengthened
through such a meeting.

The question is do high school students need these parties, New year party, Birthday party? The high school students' main focus is learning, building up personal relationship
is the secondary thing for them to do. Besides, all parties have involved huge waste
of food and money, the students who are not independent yet have no right to learn how to
splash money before they know and learn how to make money. Chasing luxury and turning
blind eye to the waste of food and resources are things they should never
learn, let alone during their schooling period. As parents, they should have a thorough
thought before they give their children money and permission. They have to ask
themselves a question what they want their children to get from the dinner party?
Heavily drinking, smoking and fighting which associated with dinner
parties in many cases are really what they don't mind of happening to their children?

birthday party
Nowadays,many students like hold a birthday party when their birthday .But I think party is not a good way to celebrate birthday.Because It cost much money,and often hurt friendship.So i do not hold a birthday party to celebrate my birthday.I advice to have a lunch with presents,to let them know you love them.
You can do some things by youself ,it usually tell you father ang mother you never forget things they do for you.
Birthday is a very important day for a person to celebrate days ago,so,Ithink you can spent that day with you family
