Hi Tom,

I am so thrilled by the news that you are going to have a holiday in Beijing during your winter vacaion.You are more than welcomed to visit my hometown. I will spare a guest room in my home so you don't need to worry about the accomodation, which is actually pretty expensive here.I would like to take you to the Great Wall, the forbidden city and the royal summer place if you are interested. They are all exotic and well protected so I reckon it is worth a visit.

I am sure you will do some research before you come, but just make sure you will carry over some medicine in case you are not used to the dry air here and get cough.

Also, please do not take too much your precious, and if you need to, take them with you all the time while you travel. Anyway, I will be with you throughout the trip so we should be fine.
