There is the tradition of respecting elders in China. People visit their relatives for New Year's and they provide for their families. Seniors spend their time exercising, socializing with family, and practicing their hobbies such as dancing. There are some current issues, such as pressure for middle aged people to provide for their children as well as their parents. It can be difficult for them to try to take care of two generations as well as themselves.
