Cherish Our Time
Ladies and gentlemen,
I am very glad to have chance to stand here to give you a speech.The title of my speech is Cherish Our Time.
Somebody might say we have enough time,but why should we treasure our time? I think time is valuable, for it will not return if it passes. We can see the trace of time on his or her white hair, and we can see the mark of time on their faces. Of course, they know that youth is very good, because they have once been young. They want to be young forever ,but they can’t go back. That is the magic of time. We can’t catch gold of it—time!
Time is tricky,and it’s difficult to control and easy to waste.For example, at beginning of a term. We may think that we have enough time. But when it comes to the end of the term, we may suddenly find that time is running out and we have done nothing in fact.When we make the self-examination, we find that we have done a lot of unnecessary things in the term. We spend much time on watching some soap operas at golden time, reading some boring novels and so on. If we study during this time, we will acquire more knowledge.
Do you think time is dangerous?I think it is.If we don’t control it,it will control us. In the modern world, time is money. If don't make it work for us,it will work against us. So we must become the master of time, not its servant.
Time is fair to everyone. Never put off till tomorrow what may be done today. So we should cherish every minut to study for our future. Are you ready? Let’s run a race with time!
