今天是除夕夜。这天，是人们吃、喝、玩、乐的日子。北方人包饺子，南方人做年糕。年糕是用黏性大的米或米粉蒸成的糕，是农历年的应时食品。
妈妈做了年糕。因为年糕音似"年高"，是吉祥如意的好兆头。妈妈说，我吃了年糕之后，来年就会长得高高。
之后，我通宵不睡“守岁”，看了电视“春节联欢晚会”、玩了电脑，好不快乐！
除夕夜真好！我真希望天天都过除夕夜！
