Like I said before, my passport expires in July 2018. So I think I'll have to go back to China to get a new one. However by the law in China, passports can only be post-registered in six months before they expire. If you want to get a new one before that time, you'll have to get a certification from your school that proofs you have other reason which need an advanced post-registeration.
I have applied for an exchange place to Hongkong for the second semester in 2018. I wonder if I'll have enough time to apply for a new passport, and if not, I appreciate it a lot that I can have a certification from school.
