Dear John,
Happy new year.
How are you these holidays? Busy at attending the family events? Hope you don't gain weight for so many feast :p
I visited some families these days. And I went to Hongkong. We were supposed to go there on Feb 12th yet there were too many visitors at the immigration center, we had to stay around overnight to go through the center next day at six thirty in the morning -.-
Hongkong is a small city with so many visitors from mainland, let alone other countries. Buildings are very old. It has been developed since long long time ago. Some buildings are torn down for a new one. People speak different languages in Hongkong: English, indian, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc.
It is famous for shopping. I am not inerested in it though. We went hiking on its higest mountain. Well it totally worthes it. And that's all about it.
Do you like Hongkong? Personally speaking, i don't enjoy it. It is too crowded and old to me. When you come to guangzhou, I must show you around. It is less crowded.
Today is Valentine's Day. How do you celebrate this day? haha. Did you take your gf to family? LOL
These days I watched a lot of episodes of a korean sitcom: Highkick! (2006). It is an old sitcom. The story however makes a close reflection of real life still: everyone has his own problems. The characters in the story are normal people like us. The way they deal with the problem is very interesting and yet helpful to shed lights on our handling similar problems. Moreover, it shares a close look on current korean life, much better than those romance dramas left with 40 episodes.
About that song <Mad World> I recommended to you last time, we are standing at completely different ponts of view. The short film itself has no fixed ideas though. People who watches it gives the meaning based on their value and reflection of life.
Look forward to hear from you.
Good day.
Erica
