3.首先这两句话是用逗号隔开，第二句前面没有连词，是个从句，如果copper前面有个and作连词，就要选D follows。选A是完全没有道理的，所以选following。
4.一看句子结构就是个宾语从句，that引导的宾语从句不做成分，是没有意义的，what引导的宾语从句充当成分，could前面缺一个主语，所以应选D what，来充当could的主语成分。
