1. 在海边用绳子围一个长方形，长方形面积是4000平方米，长方形有三边是用绳子，有一边直接利用海滩，由于没看到图，根据最后的答案，应该是与岸边平行的一边是y，与岸边垂直的一边是x
2.又用绳子将长方形分成了3个小长方形
问，一共需要多长的绳子

解：
1.长方形面积为xy=4000,围成长方形用的绳子长度为y+2x
2.将长方形分成3分，只除长方形的边外，额外需要2条绳子，长为x；
所以，总长度为y+4x=y+16000/y

意思是（未必是全部直译）：在海边用绳子围成一个两边为x米, y米的矩形区（第4边是岸; 面积4000平方米），然后用绳子将该矩形分为三个小矩形（参见图，显然这些绳子与长为x米的边平行），将全部绳子的长度用y表示。
