第一环节：迁移导入
在这一环节中，我将分三步进行：热身活动、导入新课。
1．热身活动: 在上课的起始阶段，教师请学生按顺序报数1-20，然后请全班学生共同复习数词，其次，教师打乱顺序说英文单词，请学生迅速地说出数字；教师也可以说数字，请学生说出它们的英文名称，以此来强化数词。
2．复习旧知，引入新课：在此基础上，让学生拼写这些单词1-9，（教师板书）然后让学生观察这些单词并思考：这些单词相应的十几应怎样拼写？学生会将它们一一对应：
three → thirteen four → fourteen five → fifteen
six → sixteen seven →seventeen eight → eighteen
nine → nineteen 让学生进行总结：数字中的十几在几的基础上相应地加上teen。在此基础上教师进一步引导，同学们知道几十的英语单词应怎样拼写吗？以thirteen 为例，告诉学生十三改换成三十就应为：thirty. 然后提问学生说出其它数词相应的几十的拼写方法，分别为：forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety.当然，此时教师应对特殊的单词予以强调：fourteen → forty,而不是fourty.
2、导入新课：
教师问学生：How many people are there in your family? 学生可能会回答：There are three people in my family. 这是学生根据以前所学的内容可以灵活作答的部分。在此基础上教师进一步提问：How many students are there in your class ? 学生可能会根据本班级学生的人数回答出：There are forty-five or there are forty-six,etc. 然后教师说：Sam 和Amy是到中国来学习和生活的英国小朋友。英国的小学和中国的小学有什么不同吗？从而将学生引入新课的课文学习中，出示课题: Module 10 Unit 1 There are fifty children in my class . 通过这一环节，使学生对本课的新内容有一个初步的了解，集中学生的注意力，准备接受新知识。
