在这一环节中,我将分三步进行:热身活动、导入新课。
1.热身活动: 在上课的起始阶段,教师请学生按顺序报数1-20,然后请全班学生共同复习数词,其次,教师打乱顺序说英文单词,请学生迅速地说出数字;教师也可以说数字,请学生说出它们的英文名称,以此来强化数词。
2.复习旧知,引入新课:在此基础上,让学生拼写这些单词1-9,(教师板书)然后让学生观察这些单词并思考:这些单词相应的十几应怎样拼写?学生会将它们一一对应:
three → thirteen four → fourteen five → fifteen
six → sixteen seven →seventeen eight → eighteen
nine → nineteen 让学生进行总结:数字中的十几在几的基础上相应地加上teen。在此基础上教师进一步引导,同学们知道几十的英语单词应怎样拼写吗?以thirteen 为例,告诉学生十三改换成三十就应为:thirty. 然后提问学生说出其它数词相应的几十的拼写方法,分别为:forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety.当然,此时教师应对特殊的单词予以强调:fourteen → forty,而不是fourty.
2、导入新课:
教师问学生:How many people are there in your family? 学生可能会回答:There are three people in my family. 这是学生根据以前所学的内容可以灵活作答的部分。在此基础上教师进一步提问:How many students are there in your class ? 学生可能会根据本班级学生的人数回答出:There are forty-five or there are forty-six,etc. 然后教师说:Sam 和Amy是到中国来学习和生活的英国小朋友。英国的小学和中国的小学有什么不同吗?从而将学生引入新课的课文学习中,出示课题: Module 10 Unit 1 There are fifty children in my class . 通过这一环节,使学生对本课的新内容有一个初步的了解,集中学生的注意力,准备接受新知识。
