少女时代12月20日将通过美国Universal Music集团Interscope Records世界同步公开maxi-single“The Boys”。21日在韩国网站中发表音源。Maxi-single中共收录了7首The Boys的不同版本歌曲。
为了完成度高的专辑而变更“The Boys”maxi-single发表日程的少女时代和世界hiphop歌手Snoop Dogg一起进行了录音。少女时代强烈声音和Snoop Dogg rap融合的“The Boys”remix版聚集了粉丝们的期待。
除了Snoop Dogg Interscope Records所属的实力派新人rapper 也参与了录音。
