My Opinion on Cheating in Examinations

One of the most common features during examinations is the involvement of students in cheating. It may be due to several problems like students being not prepared. Students may find the paper too hard or there may be too many papers given at once and the student is unable to cope with all the stress and amount of work needed to put in to revise for the paper. Some other may just be too lazy to even care about revising, while others may want to do it to gain higher marks to please their parents and teachers. These are some of the reasons to why students would resort to cheating.

In my opinion, I think it is wrong. No matter how unprepared you are for a test or examination, it is not good to resort to cheating. It is not worth that few extra marks you get from looking at another person's work. Firstly, they may not be right themselves. Secondly,
it is against the school rule. If you cheat and get caught, it would be disastrous. If its your first offence, you might just be giving a warning letter and just be scolded by the teacher or principle. But if you had done it before, you might get suspended or even expelled from school. Lastly, even though marks is everything, I don't think the teachers or your parents or even yourself would be happy that you did not earn those marks by yourself.

So, it is best to be honest in your work be it an examination or a test. If you want to do well, you can always prepare more in advance, to read more and get help from your subject teacher or from your classmates.

As students, we often take exams at school, but sometimes we have too many exams
which are too difficult for us. On the other hand, some of us are lazy and don’t work
hard at their lessons. So when taking exams, they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers. In my opinion, it is wrong to cheat in exams because it breaks the rules of schools.
We students should be honest and try to get good results by studying hard instead of
cheating in exams. What's more, we should improve our study methods and get well prepared
for exams.
