Good Place: Because for some rare animals who are going to die out soon like panda,red-crowned Crane or so on, the open country for them are too dangerous. As we all know, there are so many people who want to catch these rare animals for money. This shows that how dangerous far them to live in the open country(野外). In the zoos, animals can be feed healthy and on time. And there are so many professional staffs try their best to take care of these animals. So all in all, the zoos are good places for animals.

Bad Places: Of course, most zoos are treating animals good enough, but in some cases we can't deny there also some zoos are just run for money. They just buy the cheapest food for animals, and also use the cheapest medicine when the animals are ill, or even just say they don't earn enough money for these animals to see the veterinary(兽医）.They trained animals to perform to the audience to get money, but you can absolutely image how they treat these animals. They just treat them as the tools to earn money, instead of treating them as friends. And the most important thing is that the animals loose thire freedom.
