公信力是公益慈善组织生存和发展的基础与根本，因信息不公开导致的公信力下降已经严重影响了慈善事业健康发展。近年来，从“郭美美事件”到“中国红十字会购别墅事件”，一件件慈善丑闻层出不穷，民众对慈善机构的信任度也急剧下降，这在很大程度上是由于财务信息不够公开透明，鉴于此，进行慈善机构财务信息公开已经迫在眉睫。本文首先阐明了慈善机构财务信息公开的必要性，进而提出我国慈善机构财务信息公开存在的问题，并对其原因进行分析，最后从法律制度、财务监督、内部管理三个角度对我国慈善机构如何完善财务信息公开提出了建议。
