As for Chinese firms,global branding is not only important to the firms themselves,but alsoimportant to the national economy.This can be understood from the following Aspects:

In the past three decades since China adopted reform and opening-up policy,Chinese
economy has been developed fast and maintained sustained.But some un-recyclable
resources have entered the bottle neck situation,which seriously hinders the long-term
development of China’s national economy.Therefore,how to take advantage of overseas resources while making full use of domestic resources so as to maintain sustainable development of Chinese economy has become an important strategic project.Businesses’ global branding can effectively allocate resources across the world with their competition ability in the international market,so that a sustainable development of the national economy can be guaranteed.
2.Maintain Sustainable Growth of Businesses
With nearly thirty years’development,many Chinese firms have enhanced their technologies and R&D ability to some extent.However,since most Chinese businesses started at the same, low level,they are very similar,even identical,both in technologies and products.Hence,they are weak in competition.In addition,many multi-national companies constantly bring their advanced technologies and products to Chinese market,which make some Chinese firms outdated even before they have the chance to update.As a result,lots of Chinese firms start price war to reduce their inventories,which has no good to any firms that are involved.Under such circumstance,global branding is the only effective way to make Chinese firms stay away from price war,to release their productivity in foreign markets,to extend product life span and to make preparation for updating technology.The final goal of such global branding is to realize sustainable development of Chinese firms.

Global branding forces firms to do marketing activities in places which they are not familiar with.To effectively operate in a host country,businesses must understand the local market,to produce the products that can better meet the wants and needs of the local consumers,to do which,firms need to learn.Hence,global branding can stimulate firms to become learning organizations.
