What I would like to tell you all is:
May be you don't think there any need to talk someone else into doing something but if you wish not to be persuaded into doing something unneccessary or meaningless then you better have a way to prevent being persuaded by others.
Must clearly know what exactly that you need and things that you would like to buy. Such as before you go shopping, put all the things you are about to buy in a list. when a sales person wants to talk you into buying a product, then you can check you shooping list and see if the item in the list.
Keep reminding yourself about what you need. Another time, if you have met a sales person and you seem really want to buy such product then you should ask yourslef: "Is this what I really needed? Do I really need it?" if the answer is "No", then you should leave right away.
Judge other people's view points but not accept or follow other people's thinking. For example, You have plenty of homework to do and afriend of yours want to talk you into play basketball with him. He might say: "Homework can be left until tomorrow. Playing basketball is more interest than doing homework." Perhaps part of your mind has already flew out to the basketball arena, but you must consider more cearly that there will be other things to do tomorrow. Therefore you need to judge your own true thinkings that may be "I know playing basketball is fun, but tomorrow would too busy and I might not even have enough time to eat my dinner!"
Consider other people's goals of doing things. We would always think of our own benefits when doing things, which is the fact. Therefore, those who intend to persuade others are always have their own agenda. They only just think about getting their hands on others' benefits. Such as you are going on holiday with your friend. He wants to go to Paris and you want to go to Rome, then he will try to tell you how good is Paris. Sometimes he would even exaggerate the facts. When you understand his intention then would know that what had said may be not all true. He only wanted you to abandon your own thinking and go to Paris with him! Of course, the reality is more complicated than this example. Some of the people's intentions may not be clear enough, so you have learn to find out other people's thinkings.
Finally, the most important thing is, you actually must learn to understand yourself first, knowing what you need and what you want and listen to your own voice.
Hope that everyone of you can understand your own true thinking, in front of the complex reality making the right choice.

Clearly understand what you need. For example, before shopping, you can make a shopping list. When the sales pomote products to you, you can check if it's on your list.
Continously remind yourself of what you need. Another time, when you meet the sales and you really need the product, you can ask yourself."Is this what you really want? really want?",then just leave if your answer is"no".
Tell others' opinions while not just accept or follow. For example, you have much homework to do and a friend persuades you to play basketball with him. He may say"You can do homework tomorrow. Playing basketball is much more interesting." Maybe part of your mind has flied to the playground, but you should think twice. You may have other things to do tomorrow. So you need to tell. You do think playing basket ball is interesting but you don't want to be too busy to have dinner.

Consider attention of others. It's the fact that we always start from ourselves, so the man trying to persuade another one always has his own attention hoping benefits of others complies with his own. For example, your friend and you plan to travel and he prefers Paris rather than your Rome, he will try to tell you how wonderful Paris is and sometime exagerate. Knowing his attention, you can identify that his words may not be completely correct and he just wants you give up your opinion to go Paris with him. Of course, reality is always more complicated than this example and some attention may not be obvious, so you should practise to figure out one's attention.
Finally, the most important point I think is to know yourself and what you want and need, to obey voice from the bottom of your heart.
I hope everyone could understand your true thoughts. Facing with complicated and changeable reality, you can make correct choice.
