英语改错求解析啊！很急啊求通过！

I once worked for a night guard in a factory（为什么for 要改成as ）
I pushed out but could see something（为什么something要改成nothing）
And in three or four minutes（为什么in 要改成after）
and found nothing unusual(为什么and要改成but)
a tell police told me that the rainshould...()为什么police要改成policeman？

2.因为but表示转折。这句话是说我努力了但看不到任何东西。用nothing

5.police是警察的统称，既然前面有a，那就说明是一个警察，当然用policeman，单数，警察
