我只能说 in which并不完全代表where
后者 包括 前者
做题时 如果有介词加关系代词 和关系副词 并存 的情况 应首先考虑 介词加 关系代词。
因为 比较具体。
如 this is the desk where i put my books.
this is the desk in which i put my books.
this is the desk on which i put my books。
第一句 包括 后两句 。后两句比第一句 具体。
不过一般情况下 引导定从时where= in which
why=for which
whose= of which 后面的名词 必须加the
如 whose cover = of which the cover =the cover of which
when= in/on/at /during which
引导定从的关系副词 就这三个。=介词 加 关系代词
但一定要注意 介词 加 关系代词 不等于 关系副词 。这牵涉到介词本身的用法
如 this is the book from which i learn a lot .
