During Jan. 1 and Feb. 10, the Student Union has organized a "Creative Works of Waste Material" Competition in order to encourage the habits to protect the environment. Over 900 people has participated in this competition, and over 1000 complete works made up mostly by waste materials was displayed to the public through internet. The First, Second and Third price were shared by close to 200 students. Li Ming's work, "Protection of forests is everyone's responsibility" which made by old newspaper and magazine has won the first price. This competition showed the enthusiasm from the students, and it improved the environmental awareness for everyone involved.
